Typical of big city campus; few people made eye contact or smiled in passing. When we stopped to ask directions the response was friendly and helpful. Students seemed friendly with each other. |

A questioner during the info session said Chicago seemed more sci/eng than drama/arts and a student quickly interrupted and said, WE DON'T HAVE AN ENGINEERING PROGRAM. |

Very friendly and helpful. UChicago is known for having very intellectually serious students. I was expecting solemn and expressionless faces, but in reality, the students had so much PERSONALITY. |
