Campus Visit Notes for University of Florida

Visit Description:

It was a great experience. The tour was long but great. The weather was perfect! The guide gave us her Email address for additional questions. Very friendly! We ended in the football stadium for final questions. What a powerful way to end a tour! You must visit the school!

The academic part is a big question for me. I want to major in Pharmacy and earn a degree that will get me somewhere! I am an athlete so this is one of the school where I received information from recruiters. Several educational articles I have seen list it as a "Party School!" I will continue to do my homework on the school! The admission requirements did not seem much compared to the other schools I visited.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Expensive and few really good ones. We were on our way to a tournament so that was not an issue. In December we are staying in Timeshare which will be a 1 1/2 hour drive.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Not sure. Campus food was great. Lots of options.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Didn't see much the first time so we are going to really explore the second time.
