University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill - Comments on Security/Safety

April 19 2008	shayonsaleh	There were lanterns everywhere, so there really is no dark space on campus at night. Security poles are also evident around most places at the campus.
March 23 2008	Silverweed	Plenty of emergency phones, and a visible campus police presence. Also, campus transportation and escorts are available to students around the clock.
August 27 2007	arachnophobia12	UNC-Chapel Hill is in a nice, small town without much crime, but just in case has many machines outside that can easily alert the police.
June 17 2007	purplexed	Free late rides from library to dorms available. Annual event gives students a voice in safety improvements. Campus is open and connected to town. The cost: Be careful.
April 20 2007	annn	UNC has their own campus police. Enough said.
