I would fly into Midway via Southwest Airlines (if possible) and drive to South Bend. It's only a 90-or-so minute drive, and the scenery is dazzling. [View Full Report]

College Football Hall of Fame is worth a visit to downtown South Bend. Basilica and grotto on campus are a must see. [View Full Report]

We flew into Midway in Chicago, drove about 1 hour 15 minutes to Campus. No problem. Other option to fly into South Bend ,and you are 15 minutes from campus. St Mary's College across the highway, and very nice campus. Gorgeous tree lined entrance [View Full Report]

You can fly to the airport in South Bend or take a train from Chicago. When I visited the 1st time, my dad and I rented a car in South Bend. The 2nd time we just drove straight from Mpls (8 1/2 hrs). [View Full Report]
