Visit to University of Pennsylvania in June 2007 by MissBarbara (Student, HS Class of 2008)
Visit Activities:
   Information Session: Yes - Professional and well-planned. Pretty much standard though.
   Campus Tour: Yes - It was great. My tour guide was a Huntsman student which is the program I'm interested in, so that worked out well.
   Classroom Visit: Yes - Campus security was mad! lol. Wharton rooms are very high-tech.
University of Pennsylvania Campus:
   Friendliness/Courtesy of Students: 4 - Very Good 4 - Very Good
   Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff: 5 - Excellent 5 - Excellent
   Appearance of Campus: 5 - Excellent 5 - Excellent
   Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness: 5 - Excellent 5 - Excellent
   Dormitories: 4 - Very Good 4 - Very Good
   Security/Safety: 4 - Very Good 4 - Very Good - Definitely seems very secure. Still though, the area is a little sketchy.
   Overall Campus Impression: 5 - Excellent 5 - Excellent
Off-Campus:
   Area Immediately Around Campus: 3 - Good 3 - Good
   City/Town/Community: 4 - Very Good 4 - Very Good - I'm sure there's a lot to do.
Campus Visit Notes for University of Pennsylvania:
Visit Description: When I first visited Penn, my parents just kind of drove around and I was, needless to say, not impressed. However, after taking the full tour and talking to various admissions officers, students, and directors, Penn has definitely become my first-choice school.
