Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - Pretty good. Spent a lot of time emphasizing interdisciplinary majors and getting experience in more than one area. Also emphasized importance of high school transcript over other app factors.

Campus Tour: Yes - Knowledgeable student giving the tour. Interesting traditions including toasting the football team and such. Made Penn seem like a lot of fun and spirited.

Classroom Visit: No - I looked into a Wharton classroom on a drive by and it was pretty plain and bare.

Campus:

The only students that were very bad were the frat students. The other students were happy to give directions.

Generally pretty good. One of the people in the admissions office was kind of abrasive, and the staff of the bookstore were impatient, but no real complaints.

Nothing really bad, but not exceptional either. Fairly clean, nothing run down or broken on campus.

Dormitories:

I didn't see them at the school (they won't let anyone in), but I looked on their websites and they looked decent in the videos.

Security/Safety:

Lots of campus police--I didn't feel afraid while on campus. West Philly is a bit scary.
