There is a really great pizza place on the corner of 36th and Chestnut, only a couple of blocks away from the center of campus.

City Tavern! They serve food like it was in 1773, and it is all delicious. They even dress like colonial times, which sounds touristy, but it really isn't. In Center City Philly.

the dining halls had a great choice of foods - i enjoyed eating at Houston and drinking coffee at a starbucks nearby.

We ate at Houston hall (if I remember right) and the food was excellent - I had sushi and daughter had a focaccia bread sandwich.
