Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - They covered just about every possible question you can have, even those you hadn't thought of yourself yet.

Campus Tour: Yes - Took just long enough. The campus is beautiful and very well-kept. I was extremely impressed.

We got lots of greetings from students passing by, saying things like "Fight on" (the USC motto or something) & "see you next year".

Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff:
I didn't come into contact with any staff...

Very clean, and the buildings look very well taken care of. However, there was some construction going on during my tour.

Dormitories:

The dorms had a good amount of space & pretty awesome views. From one I could see the Hollywood sign :]. Bathrooms were very clean and spacy too.

Security/Safety:
5 - Excellent

There were emergency phones practically every few steps around campus. I don't see how a person wouldn't be able to reach one if they needed.

Overall Campus Impression:

The tour guides did a very nice job of making the tour enjoyable. The campus speaks for itself though, it truly is gorgeous.

Off-Campus:

USC is in an urban neighborhood. However, I think it gets unnecessary flack for it. Use your common sense and stay to yourself, & the chances of something happening to you are slim to none. I walk

City/Town/Community:

Los Angeles. What more can you say? Opportunity is everywhere, and I doubt you could ever get bored.

Campus Visit Notes for University of Southern California

Visit Description:

If there is one thing I noticed at USC that I didn't notice at other colleges I visited is how prevalent bicycles are on campus! Even during the summer, where only a small amount of students are taking classes, bikes were EVERYWHERE! I must have seen over a hundred in one day. It makes sense; the campus is pretty big, even though I think you could get from one end to the other in 5-7 mins if you wanted to. But bikes are clearly the way to go around there.
