Visit Activities:
Information Session:
Yes - I attended the Transfer Day in January. It was very helpful. I got tons of information and was able to speak with the counselor designated to my particular school.
Campus Tour:
Yes - I fell even more in love with the campus after taking the tour. We didn't go into any of the buildings or dorms, but I learned a lot about the history and architecture.
Classroom Visit:
Yes - They held admission seminars and financial aid seminars in two different classrooms. The classes were well maintained and orderly.
Campus:
Friendliness/Courtesy of Students:
5 - Excellent
The students I encountered were very friendly and helpful with my questions.
Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff:
5 - Excellent
The staff was excellent! They answered all my questions and offered ways to contact them personally with any other questions. They didn't make me feel like just another number.
Appearance of Campus:
5 - Excellent
Gorgeous!! This is my dream school. I love the green lawns, brick buildings, and old architecture.
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:
5 - Excellent
Dormitories:
5 - Excellent
I didn't visit any.
Security/Safety:
4 - Very Good
I felt safe on campus and in the general area right around it where there were lots businesses and food places where the college students go. I didn't really see the "ghetto" neighborho
Overall Campus Impression:
5 - Excellent
SUPERB!
Off-Campus:
Area Immediately Around Campus:

I walked around and felt safe in the day. At night it was kinda sketchy. I heard an ambulance go by at least three times in one night.
City/Town/Community:

I'm not really a fan of LA, but USC is there so i'll cope.
Campus Visit Notes for University of Southern California
Visit Description:
Eventhough the Radisson lagged in all areas it was nice being across the street from the campus and being able to walk outside and be submerged into the college atmosphere.
I would suggest sneaking off to take your own tour of the campus. Go to the library, bookstore, cafeteria, etc. See what it's really like.
I had an excellent experience visiting the school. I have an even greater desire to go to USC. Come May i'll now if I got in!! Wish me luck!
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
I stayed at the Radisson. Everything about the hotel was horrible. The rooms, service, food, etc. The location, however, was top notch.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
I recommend going to visit on a Friday while students are there and then again on Saturday.
