Beautiful, big campus. Lots of brick buildings.

Lots of shops, restaurants. Seemed like campus was close to the "downtown."

Campus Visit Notes for University of Virginia:
Visit Description:
Amazing college. Lots of happy, fun students who are devoted to their studies. The heavy Virginia population did not seem to reveal itself among the students. Big campus. Lots of student organizations (like the Bob Barker Disciples, Tater Tots, etc). Very distinguished, dynamic, and interesting professors (Julian Bond, Larry Sabato). They seem to look down upon their math department because most of the math professors are foreigners. Very affluent student body. White, preppy, attractive students. Greek life is present on campus and Virginia is known for drinking.
