Campus Visit Notes for University of Virginia

Visit Description:

From the first step on campus, I realized that this was a wonderful place to learn. Everyone was kind and helpful, even an architectural masterpiece of a campus can be initially difficult to navigate. The admissions staff were very helpful throughout the information session, taking the time to answer everyone's questions personally (and there were a lot of people Veteran's Day Monday). I left the information session feeling informed with no questions left unanswered. Our tour guide offered a humorous tour of the campus and kept everyone entertained. He also offered his perspective of being very comfortable as an out of state student in a state school. For lunch, try the Dumpling Window for excellent chinese food.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

The White Spot and the Dumpling Window

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Flying into Richmond is cheaper than Charlottesville, and closer than Dulles.
