Try to stay overnight if you possibly can - you'll get the best feel. If you can't, there are tons of hotels in town - check out the Red Carpet Inn; they have cool medieval-style decor. [View Full Report]

Cavalier Inn is ~5-10min walking to Central Grounds. Anything in/around C'ville will do though. Make early reservations for move-in weekend, parent's weekend, graduation, and move-out week [View Full Report]

I live within 2 hours of driving so that's what we did but there are high-cost places like the Marriot and Best Western and I saw a lower-cost Travelodge too. The Cavalier Inn is supposedly good [View Full Report]
