Visit to Vanderbilt University in August 2007 by sailhour (Student, HS Class of 2008)
Visit Activities:
Campus Tour: Yes - Perfect! The campus is in the middle of Nashville (the "better" end), but is massive and closed off. There are trees and large sprawling greens all over campus. I felt as if it were a "
Vanderbilt University Campus:

City/Town/Community: 5 - Excellent 5 - Excellent - It's Nashville! In my mind, it's above New York and London in terms of a city with culture. I loved it.
Campus Visit Notes for Vanderbilt University:
Visit Description: I've visited quite a few schools. I liked some of the Ivies. Stanford was nice. They all bragged about sometimes academics, sometimes extracurriculars, research, or whatever the topic of the day came to be. Vanderbilt just oozed well-roundedness having no need to explicitly state it. I started my search trying to find a top level school where I would love to be around the people. My search is...over.
