We were there on the Friday and Saturday when the b-ball team was playing in the NCAA against G-town. Everyone was pretty revved up. |

I asked a number of students just to talk about Vanderbilt and why they liked it. I had a conversation with them for almost 45 minutes -- it was amazing. Students were great. |

Coming out of hotel (Marriott on campus) the first morning, we got lost and a male student immediately came over to help us find our way. Great first impression of students at Vanderbilt! |

Because it was summer, there were very few students on campus. However, the ones I did see seemed happy and friendly to help out a fellow peer. |

If you want to even give the Ivies a real shot, visit them first. Do it the other way around and you'll feel miserable during the Northeast visits. People are almost TOO nice. |
