National Arboretum? It is in the middle of Nashville but I honestly felt for a bit that the campus was about half an hour out of the city there are so many trees and green fields. |

Vanderbilt was probably the most beautiful university campus I saw with the possible exception of Berkeley and/or Yale. Vandy is like a well manicured park. It was so nice!!! |

I've seen some pictures from viewbooks and then been disappointed upon the visit. I was disappointed in this viewbook (well, that's a stretch, but I'm saying the real thing was equal if |

Despite rain and chill, the campus was beautiful. The trees and red brick building and southern architecture were grand. |

There are hundreds of varieties of plants and trees on campus, and every single one was green and thriving despite the extreme summer heat. There is also a 3:1 ratio of squirrels to students. :) |

The fact that it is a national arboretum should be enough to convince you that it's outstanding. I happened to visit on a rainy day, yet it still blew me away. Try that on for size. |

Gorgeous! I wish I could see the foliage in the fall. If you're thinking "Old South"-esque architecture, that is not the case. |

The Vanderbilt campus is a national arboretum! The buildings are (almost) all red brick... and there are squirrels aplenty. It's a really beautiful campus. |

The campus is one of the best features of this campus. It holds massive green lawns and gorgeous buildings. Just try to avoid the power plant. |
