Information Session:
Yes - 2 reps from Admissions talked a blue streak for 45 mins on grad req'ts, essay bloopers. NB: NO core curr'm; "if you don't want to take a course, we don't want to waste time gi
Campus Tour:
Yes - Spirited young volunteer from Oceanside, L.I., polled the group first to see where everyone came from, then gave a Pulitzer winning speech about campus, architecture, trees, alumni, skeletons...
Classroom Visit:
Yes - 9am Physics 101 class is one of the FEW held "this early", said our Vassar hostess. Most classes don't start until 10am; none before 9am. Also went to an English seminar on James Joyce;

Could not believe how much time the tennis coach invested in orchestrating a perfect day at Vassar.

Money all over the place and they spend plenty to keep all these old building looking new. Beautiful campus, clean, crime free.

Visit Description:
Self expression is everywhere at Vassar -- poetry, art work, photos, theater. Frats and Sororities 'are against everything we stand for,' they say. Beautiful campus, incredible athletic department and facilities, highest of standards.
