5 - Excellent

Security/Safety:
4 - Very Good
It's not a city school so there obviously isn't as much to worry about, but the campus safety is very good. As good as it needs to be, at least.

5 - Excellent
Off-Campus:
Area Immediately Around Campus:
3 - Good
Poughkeepsie isn't essentially remarkable, but the area immediately around campus is quaint. It's not the quintessential college town, but it's nice.
City/Town/Community:
Poughkeepsie isn't essentially remarkable, but it's definitely not as bad as some have described... Perhaps it's a matter of what you're used to being around.
