Campus Visit Notes for Virginia Tech

Visit Description:

It is a lovely campus set in the rolling, green hills of Virginia. People very friendly and helpful, stone buildings remarkable attractive. Has a 'contained campus' feel to it.

Very sophisticated sports stadium. People are very much enamoured of V-Tech sports (Hokies). This could be fun, perhaps even if sports/sports watching is exactly your thing. Lots of school spirit.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Go to the cafeteria (where most students dine). Lots of things to chose from. Only $8 for visitors.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Have a GPS, although V-tech is not hard to find.
Before going to tour/admissions--stop at Visitors' Center to get parking pass & check in & get map. Can call admissions for directions to
