Visit Activities:

Admissions Interview: Yes - MY interview was fairly short, because I was doing a summer program at Wash. U. and we had work to do. It was more like a casual conversation than an interview; the admissions officer was very laidbac

Campus Tour: Yes - Again, my tour was with my summer program, so it might have been different. However, I did see tour guides around the campu giving tours. From the things that I overheard, they sounded knowledgeable.

Classroom Visit: Yes - I only visited their Architecture Building; it had high tech facilities, large, open work spaces and tables, a great environment to be in.

Campus Visit Notes for Washington University in St. Louis

Visit Description:

I cannot believe that there is no "Campus Food" Section! Wash U's dining hallfood is really, really good, not just compared to other college's food, but compared to real restaurants as well. Its your typical burger/pizza/burrito/American food, but it was real. I ate cheeseburgers for dinner for an entire week, and now that I am back home, I still long for them. You can only understand if you actually experience them. They also have a small cafe in their dining hall, REALLY good food. Selections range from fraps./cappucinos,tea, variety of smoothies, scones, cupcakes, tiramisu muffins, giner cookies, so much more!

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

The Loop has a healthy supply of restaurants, shops and boutiques, coffee shops, etc. etc. A very nice place.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

There is a subway/tram thing near Wash U. within walkign distance. It is quite convenient, I used it to watch the movies.
