Washington University in St. Louis Campus:
Friendliness/Courtesy of Students: -
I saw very few students, so I don't feel like I can rank them. However, those who were helping with the info sessions and tours seemed very poised and friendly.
Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff: 5 - Excellent -
This was one of the best parts of my visit. The staff was interesting, entertaining, and clearly cared. I saw many staying behind long after their sessions to chat with visiting students and parents.
Appearance of Campus: 4 - Very Good -
The buildings are beautiful, mostly Gothic-style architecture, but fully modern inside. The grounds were extremely well kept, though lacking some of the extras that would have earned a 5.
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness: 4 - Very Good -
Construction was happening all over campus. While this will mean better facilities in the end, anyone planning to attend in the next year or two should be prepared to be inconvenienced.
Dormitories: 4 - Very Good -
Very nice, well-kept, substance-free options, guaranteed 4-yr housing, and all are air-conditioned
Overall Campus Impression: 4 - Very Good

Campus Visit Notes for Washington University in St. Louis:
Visit Description:
Overall, I had a very pleasant visit. The campus is lovely, the food very good, (even the current students said so, something I've never seen) the dorms above average, and the faculty was extremely impressive. They seemed to genuinely love teaching and put it first, despite WashU being a research school. One interesting thing I discovered was just how much research is encouraged for undergrads - there are more options than you could imagine, for every single major offered, and they go far beyond the traditional white-coat-in-a-lab stereotype.
