I just got to say St. Louis was the friendliest city I have ever been to. From the rental car bus driver to the hotel staff to the school's staff. Unbelievable!

Very good looking campus. It has that top school look.
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness: 5 - Excellent -
Buildings are continually being rebuilt to keep up the incredible upkeep. Extremely clean and you look at the old outside of the building and walk into a modern inside that makes you think you went through the wrong door!
Dormitories: 5 - Excellent -
Incredible the only other dorm that I saw that was this good was Franklin W. Olin College. Plasma TV and fireplace on each floor of the modern dorms. Maid service for the bathrooms community and suite style depending on the dorm. Rooms were big for a d

The campus is very self contained, but across the street (literally) is a park bigger than central park and very beautiful. They also just built a metro station on the corner of campus and they give students access to the metro for free! It goes downtow

Friendliest town I have ever been in. I didn't get a chance to explore too much though
Campus Visit Notes for Washington University in St. Louis:
Visit Description:
I came after I was accepted in April. I was kind of mad that everyone else at my school who got in got to go on an all expense paid trip for their April visit just because they were hispanic, but whatever. I stayed at one of the hotels that the school reccomend and did a campus information session and tour in the mourning. I then drove around a little, and came back during the afternoon. I went to an engineer thing that I saw advertised on one of the papers I got about their April visit programs. It turned out to be an ice cream and cake session to meet professors and some engineer students. I was the only one who showed up, and the professors still stayed and talked with me for over an hour! Plus, the current student who showed up then gave me a personal tour of the engineering building including a lab. This was the tipping point for me. The personal attention was incredible! I then explored the campus a little the next morning then visited downtown and the arch before catching a plane back home.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
I used one of the many the school had recommend on one of their papers they sent me.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
The arch is obviously worth seeing since its the staple of St. Louis in most people's minds.
