Wellesley College - Comments on City/Town/Community

May 29 2008	wannabeivy0815	Wellesley is not a college hangout place and getting to Boston seems to take a lot of effort and time. That's one disadvantage of being at Wellesley because there is a certain sense of isolation.
January 11 2008	catsushi	There are little shops, boutiques, banks, and churches. It is said that students use the Bank of America. I never looked too closely at the stores, but they seemed to be pretty expensive.
August 21 2006	Mimeea	Boston is 12 miles east of campus, and there is a bus or commuter rail, but it does seem like a bit of a hassle. There is a mall and other shopping in the town over (Natick).
August 19 2006	Demosthenic	Its a rich suburb which means you aren't in danger of being mugged but it gets kind of plain and homogenous.
