Visit Activities:
Admissions Interview: Yes - It went pretty well, just a conversation. Definitely informative... Information Session: Yes - Casual, but very well done and informative, went over more than just the basics you could find on the web Campus Tour: Yes - soooooo good, my guide, Berry, was excellent
Wesleyan University Campus:
Friendliness/Courtesy of Students: 4 - Very Good - Students all seemed like a lot of fun, intelligent, friendly Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff: 4 - Very Good - helpful and friendly... Appearance of Campus: 4 - Very Good - really nice campus... grass, trees Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness: 4 - Very Good - all nice and clean... Dormitories: 4 - Very Good - the dorm room i stayed in (clark) was very nice and spacious, everything seemed to be working well and in good condition. I also saw a few of the other places, like the houses, which were really cool Security/Safety: 3 - Good - didn't have any issues with safety... Overall Campus Impression: 4 - Very Good - such a nice place...
Off-Campus:
Area Immediately Around Campus: 3 - Good - downtown Middletown was nice enough... nothing special, but definitely enjoyed walking around City/Town/Community: 3 - Good
Campus Visit Notes for Wesleyan University:
Visit Description: I visited a friend over the fall break, which might not have been the best time to get the real college experience. In my opinion, there were still plenty of people walking around, and I definitely enjoyed myself, but apparently there are usually tons more people around and lots more exciting parties and shows on the weekends. I got a really nice overall feeling from the college, it's one of my top choices. Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments: went to an excellent indian restaurant downtown, an average mexican place, had a delicious sandwhich from neon deli, and a wonderful falafel after midnight one evening. Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.): paying for a taxi from the university to the airport at 4 in the morning was not fun. if you don't have a car, make sure you arrive/leave on a weekday so regular public transportation is availabl
