Visit Activities:

Campus Tour: Yes - The Yale tour of the campus was great! The tour guide who was a Junior and a girl was so funny! She made the usually boring history part interesting and also showed us the important things.

Campus:

Friendliness/Courtesy of Students:
5 - Excellent
5 - Excellent
Every one was extremely friendly on campus and the students seemed very studious but also genuinely happy unlike students at the other schools I visited. They were also very polite such as doorholding

Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff:
4 - Very Good

I could not assess this since I only met the students on campus and one person in the admissions office who was nice.

Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:

The campus certainly is one of the more cleansely ones I have seen and basically all the buildings are absolutely stunning.

Dormitories:
4 - Very Good
4 - Very Good
I did not see the dorms, therfore I cannot assess this but I did like the concept of the housing system. Also, the campus was very clean in places you would not expect cleanseliness, therfore I do bel

Security/Safety:
Cannot assess

Overall Campus Impression:
5 - Excellent
5 - Excellent
As you might be able to tell from my previous assessments, I really loved the school all around. New Haven is not the best location but as long as you are in campus, you don't need the town.

Off-Campus:

Area Immediately Around Campus:
3 - Good
3 - Good
As I said, New Haven isn't that great but it is still better then some of the other college's locations.

Campus Visit Notes for Yale University

Visit Description:

Yale was my last college that I toured and it was basically my last hope. I did not like all but one of the other super selective colleges I had toured. This may sound as though I am very selective, but I tried to look beyond the fact that all these schools have great reputations and found not so great things at these schools.

Well, to sum my visit up, I loved the Campus, the people and the atmosphere which was relaxed but also very inspiring and studious.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

There was a Mexican restaurant in a neighboring town and it was the best Mexican food I have ever had!

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Parking was great but it was on a weekend and therefore I cannot speak for the majority. We parked infornt of the freshman dorm and payed very little.
