English/communications combo

Hey everybody.

I am a current Marketing major entering my second year of school. I have recently been wondering about switching to an arts major, specifically English with a communications minor. My goal is to work in the entertainment industry, whether in production, PR, or advertising. I was wondering if this is a good move, and if anybody has any familiarity with having an English degree in this field. And if anybody by any chance is familiar with marketing, if they think a marketing major can get into the field. My main concern is that I am very creative, and don't want to spend college and my career analyzing numbers. I'd love to work in TV, movies, and have even begun work on screenplays. I am very very interested in this industry and if anybody can help please do. Sorry for being all over the place and not really using the best English, but I just wanted to get my question out there.
