| chances for pratt??
so i keep seeing again and again - 50% ish acceptance rate for pratt, which i thought was unbelievably high considering how much i hear about this school. i have heard its more difficult for transfers.. so i went to the school myself, and chatted a bit with an admissions counselor. apparently if a transfer student wants to attend the school, they have to be accepted into one of their majors. i asked for the stats for GD applicants -
800 students apply on average per year - ~40 get in
...what?? what did i miss? why did it go down to a 5% acceptance rate? thats worse than the IVY schools - im always concerned about stats for schools, so im fairly worried at this point. has anyone else heard of this? i would like to verify this somehow
