Does RISD often give scholarships to international persons applying?

Go the the RISD Facebook admissions 101 page and ask Lucy those questions. As for double majoring, it is not encouraged unless you plan to spend an extra year or two completing both majors.

As far as I know, RISD,s intensive curriculum does not permit for double majoring. It also does not offer entrance scholarships to internationals. However, there is the possibility of winning several, large, renewable merit scholarships (theyre called the trustee scholarships around 10,000 US each) at the end of each year. but to be eligible for these you must already be enrolled, to enroll you must have your visa and to get your visa you need to have the financial resources.
