Wagner Musical Theater?
Hello, everyone!

I was curious as to how the musical theater program at Wagner compares with other musical theater programs. How "high" is it among musical theater programs in selectivity, prestige, etc.?

I know I and others have posted a fair amount on this school. Hopefully you'll find info through a simple search. For one perspective, you might want to check out the CBS morning show contest and it's link in the other thread. One of the students is from Wagner. In fact, she's from our area and we were fortunate to see her portrayal of the Witch in "Into the Woods" for her high school where she did an absolutely excellent job as a junior.

Wagner offers a BA in theatre, which includes MT training. Here is a link to a previous discussion of the program: Wagner College's program

If you have not already done so, read the discussion abou the difference between BA and BFA programs, available in the FAQ section near the top of this page. If you still have questions after reading those posts, I am sure you can get some good info here.

If you do a search using the search tool and the term Wagner you will find many more posts about it.
