Does this mean I was admitted?

Hey guys,

Today i received a letter in the mail stating that i had missing documents regarding financial aid, does this mean i was admitted to the university? Common sense says yes, because its useless for wake to spend quality time looking over my FAFSA if i was denied or waitlisted

i got that same letter last week and i thought the same thing! why would they send it out this late in the admissions process to someone that they don't plan to accept?

i really really hope so because i got one of those letters too! but idk...maybe they sent it as just a mass letter to any and all students with missing materials? im trying not to get my hopes up but thatd be so great if this meant we're in!

was it a small envelope from the financial aid office, b/c i feel like i got one of those over a month ago.

My son got one too. He's been accepted to UNC, NC State, & Pitt. He's waiting on Wake and Duke. I guess it might be a bad sign for Duke since they didn't send a letter.

Sorry to burst everyones bubble, but I am fairly certain this letter means nothing. Many appliants applying to other schools receive similar letters close to the decision dates with a warning that they do not indicate an offer of admission. Please do not read too much into this and get your hopes up. Moreover please do not get discouaged by a lack of a similar letter from Wake or another school. It means absolutely nothing regarding admission status. Just do what the letter instructs and hope for the best. Goof luck.

Just wondering how true the theory was that if you received the "missing documents" letter that it was a sign of acceptance.
I got the missing docs letter on Monday and was accepted today. Is this true for anyone else?
