I do not know specifically for the engineering fellowship but I know someone who won the moog scholarship and he said that many of the finalists had previous research experience so I am sure the engineering one is the same. On the other hand, he also told me it is based more on why you chose the research/ why you are interested in it. I don't what your essay question was, but for moog it was to talk about a research project.

I hear about 500 apply for each scholarship and I know 4 are chosen for the full scholarship and 4 for the half scholarship so as a min they will be picking at least 8 people to be finalists for each in the honorary scholars program.

Does anyone know how they notify finalists and when the weekend is? Wishful thinking.

The call you. Either this weekend or next weekend. They also put it on Pathway 2-3 days after they make the calls. Good Luck

Last year and the year before it was February 21 or 22... Which is Tuesday or Wednesday of next week... Hopefully it will be this weekend!!

I applied to fitzgibbon and Ervin and entrepreneurial. Does anyone know if there as interviews for the entrepreneurial one?

Yes and thank you! I got a call around 6:30 eastern time from the office of admissions.

Congrats Nina. I remember you leading the ED thread when we were all waiting in December. Did you apply for any of the other scholarships?

Btw, I am majoring in PNP also.

Thanks, onecot. I did not apply for any other scholarships, but I did apply for the biology summer scholars program.

Either a good sign that no one has heard about the other scholarships or bad that No CC members are finalist. Maybe the calls will come during the week or next Saturday.

I looked in the old forums, and in 2010 it appears that they called people on both Saturday and Sunday. So, good luck to everybody!
