i'll start the thread..
waitlisted
3.8/1460
very good ECs + everything else, kinda surprised
edit: By the way, on the website you have a choice to get off the waitlist or stay on it. Why wouldn't someone stay on the waitlist?

Mostly AP courses, many ECs and great recs
I'm pretty shocked too.

I was also WL with 1430 and a tough courseload and all that, but not really surprised since I didn't show any real interest.

Maybe they thought you weren't that interested in them and would accept elsewhere. Some top schools do that.

I was also waitlisted. I'm so depressed because WashU was one of my top choices, but I knew it was coming. my freshman year grades were despicable. So, I guess that I was lucky to even be considered for admission.
1320
3.64 GPA w/o freshman year
720 Writing/620 Math IC

Damn.
Everyone that was waitlisted has these amazing stats. I can't believe it.
I feel like I should've seen it coming too, I didn't show any interest either. I had an on campus interview and all that, but I didn't even send the poor girl a thank you note.
Plus, I'm assuming what all of you said was right as well - they probably expect us to get in elsewhere.
