Hi I have a question about aid for Wash U. My parents make under 50,000 a year, but my grandparents screwed as over my selling a motel and putting it under my parents name. So my parents tax was 6 million, however the next year it will be back to normal. Does anybody know if I could then reapply for financial aid?
Yeah, my friend had the same problem (sort of). My advice would be to just talk to the financial aid office - they will most likely understand your situation and get you sorted out this year, and if not, next year. Her FAFSA misrepresented her current situation based on their family's standing last year, and I hear the FinAid office was really understanding about it.
