I am intent on becoming a doctor. With that said, I want to do what is best to get me into med school, preferably a good one. Would it be softer on the GPA to take a non-science major while still fulfilling pre-med requirements? Or would taking Biology as a major not hurt my grade any more than any other non-Science major? What is reccomended as a general course of action with respect to majors?
I believe the premed prereqs WashU recommends (requires) include two semesters of chemistry, two of orgo chem, three of biology, two of physics, etc. So if you like science, but don't necessarily want to major in it, believe me, you will get plenty of science!
