ACT or SAT

I took both ACT and SAT, but I got a better score on the ACT.
since WashU doesn't require SAT II's, can I just send my ACT score? would it affect my admission process??

Nope, they take either one. I did better on the ACT as well, but I believe I sent both. A low score on one of them isn't going to hurt you anyway. Also remember that they don't look at the ACT or SAT writing sections (they use the personal essay to judge both your writing ability and your character), and will take the superscore of all your attempts for each test. So if you take the SAT twice, and score 800 on math the first time, but not the second, and score 800 on reading the second time, but not the first, they will count that as a 1600.

^Exactly. I was in the same situation as srunni- better on the ACT.
However, I only sent in the ACT.

WashU's a midwest school and most people in the midwest take only the ACT so you'll be fine and maybe even do better by sending in your ACT.
