Chance me, please

I am latino if that matters at all, attending Plano East Senior High in Texas.

SAT:
Critical Reading - 700
Writing - 610 (I know)
Math - 740

AP scores:
World History - 4
Spanish 4 - 5
U.S. History - 5
English Language - 5
Spanish 5 - 5

EC:
Recreational soccer since I was 3
Member of HOSA (largest organization in school), president 10th and 12th grade
IBSSA (IB club) member, Junior representative 11th grade, Senior representative in 12th grade
FBLA member since 9th grade

Extras:
Have been in IB since 9th grade

Wash U is my number one school. I'm in all IB classes, get all A's, haven't had a B since 10th grade (only one). I think my teacher recs would be great from my science and math teachers, and I want to double major in Biochem/molecular biology and possibly engineering. Pre-med.

You've got a great chance, especially as as URM. You'll most likely get in.

You're right, we do have similar stats. Luckily for you, you are Latino. And because of that, I'd say scholarships would be very possible. I have a Mexican friend with similar stats to yours (his were a bit better), and he got accepted to Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. He ended up attending Yale for about $8,000 a year. All I can say is apply for all the scholarships you can, and let them know you are Latino. Good luck, and I hope to see you as a fellow freshman at Washington University!
