| there's plenty to do besides partying. going to the city museum, movies, forest park (take a group if you go at night), the observatory, bowling, all the usual stuff that you'll find around most campuses. i didn't start going to parties regularly until sophomore year because there was enough to see and do for the first time as a freshman.
washu's a very social place, but "social" doesn't have to mean massive parties. the nice thing is that here, unlike some other top uni's, there actually IS an active party life if people want it. and it's fun, whatever you choose to do on a friday or saturday night.
bottom line, you'll never say, "I wish people did other stuff besides party." And you'll rarely say "I wish there was a good party this weekend," because there's almost always both. |
