| UC schools are losing their money. Also, UC Berkeley is four or five times bigger than Wash U. So it depends on what you're looking for. If your'e out of state, I would definitely say Wash U. |

| If you think you'll ever consider doing things aboard, go to UCB. Berkeley is the most internationally prestigious school in the world (even more so than Harvard, MIT, and Oxford.) I don't have the link to the thread right now. |

| If you're instate (or money is any sort of issue), I would go to berkeley. I wouldn't believe that fact that berk is internationally more well-known than Harvard and what not. You should just look at the concrete facts: which school is better for your intended major (the academics), money/financial aid, and the overall atmosphere of the campus. If you're eventhinking about going premed, you should go to washu (if money isn't an issue). Berk doesn't have a good med school acceptance rate. |
