Miss Molly and I are seeing this subject from an entirely different perspective.
(Hope you don't mind me including you in this train of thought Molly.

)
She is a parent of a son and I a daughter. As a parent of children going out into the world, I would hope that we instilled in our children the maturity to look for something less fleeting than physical beauty in a relationship. There are so many things that are more important.
Additionally, the whole 'unattractive girls' discussion grates on my last feminist nerve. I hate knowing that even after all the fighting for equal treatment and opportunities for women ( acceptance into selective schools, being trained for and achieving professional careers being just a couple of the benefits you women of WUSTL -09 have and may recieve through those fights) physical attributes are still a primary consideration in how valuable a woman is. What is unattractive?
Physical attributes can be a lovely distraction.

( We're parents - we aren't dead!) They just ARE NOT a reason to pick a college! That's Shallow.
