Can i send two teacher rec. instead of one?

I have one rec. from a teacher dubbed "The Hardest English Teacher in the School." I took her AP English class and barely scrapped an A. She is a master of rhetoric and i'm sure that her rec. letters will reflect this mastery.

I also have a rec. from my honors physics teacher last year. He knows me very well, even about my track pursuits outside of the classroom; i see him more as a wise old friend than a teacher, but i guess that's what teachers should be. I got a B+ in his class but once again, he knows me on a personal level, moreso than my english teacher. I asked him if he felt he was capable of writing me a strong reccommendation, to which he said yes.

Can i just send both?

I just checked the website for you- it says only 1 is required, but you're allowed to send 2.
