Asian Population

How is the Asian population here? What are the percentages? I've never been to Missouri before, so I have no idea.

The school says it's 9% but it felt like a lot more than that to me.

As of the census in 2000 there are 348,189 people in St. Louis and approx 7,000 are asian and so its around 2% asian population in St. Louis. St. Louis is known more for the closely even split between white and black people. Hispanics are about the same as asians. At the University itself, there is a substantial asian population. The asian community frequently organizes events together and there is a core group of people youll see again and again, the AAA AMA CSA HKSA TWSA KSA CNYF, theres a whole bunch.

if you're going to look at the census, don't use just StL city, because the majority of people in StL live in StL county, not the city (hehe, we have way more than 350,000 people here). I'm also guessing that the % of asian people in the county is higher than in the city.

HAHAH oops sorry, I forgot about that little thing = yeah little ahah.

St. Louis County
Population, 2003 estimate 1,013,123
Asian persons, percent, 2000 (a) 2.2% so its generally the same as St. Louis.

I dont remember exactly, but I do believe its 9% and not more.
