For one, entering freshman can get accepted to Olin without having any Calc. With that being said, if your son is a freshman, already enrolled in Olin, then the Calc requirement is needed to transfer into Olin doesn't apply to him (since he is already enrolled in Olin).
Transfers into Olin (from WU schools or other schools), generally are required to have up to Calc II already completed (among other requirements). I am sure there are examples of special cases when this rule hasn't applied; however, I am sure they are strict about the rule because it is important for students to have Calc II done if they don't start in Olin as a first semester freshman because it is a pre-req for a lot of business courses. |
