^gunit, I also highly doubt that someone narrowing down his/her choices close to the application date wouldn't look at the website as a deciding factor.

However, if someone just heard of WashU - from a book, acquaintance, whatever - and thought to check it out, it most probably would not make a nice/professional first impression (or go on their list of colleges).

Agree with PoloBear - Can't even see the lounge in this particular background pic cuz of the floating boxes. Shortening the background pic would be a good option!
