Wellesley or Portland

I'm having a really difficult time deciding between Wellesley or Reed in Portland. I really loved Portland when I visited, and I like Reed's academics, but I'm not so sure about the rumors about Reed's drug culture. I'm going to visit Boston this April for SOC. Anyone think the city is more important than the college to some extent?

Thanks

I met someone recently who went to Reed. He told me it's not only hard to get in, but also hard to "get out." It took him six years to graduate.

I don't know whether this is representative or not, but it's food for thought and research into Reed's vs. Wellesley's four-year graduation rate.
