| Can I get into Wellesley???
I'm OOS (from California), planning to go for premed
Weighted GPA - 4.28
Unweighted GPA - 3.67
class rank - 59/428
very competitive high school (because of the IB program)
ACT composite: 35
english - 35
math - 35
reading - 32
science 36
(english/writing - 31) I got an 8 on the essay ='(
SATIIs:
math IIc - 800
physics - 780
chemistry - 750
national merit commended
Middle Years Program Diploma (9th-10th) w/ completion of Personal Project
Expecting to graduate with Full IB Diploma

I'd retake the ACT and THEN consider the sex change. If you can't get your writing score up, it's pointless.

dude, their premed program is so bomb!! 70%+ of their premeds get into med schools =O
I just want to get in on that action
OH, and I checked their app, it doesn't have any mention of being required to be a girl =D

You could always come for a semester from one of the 12 college exchange schools (ie: Amherst, Bowdoin, Connecticut College, Dartmouth, Mt. Holyoke, Smith, Trinity, Vassar, Wellesley, Wesleyan, and Wheaton).

I don't think they are that selective. I would think it would be more around the 20% to 25% range.

It's a good school. You definitely need to have good grades and scores, somewhere around 2100+ from what I've been able to comprehend. You would probably have a decent chance if you were a girl haha
