Ec: intership at small wall street firm, model eu, 150+ volunteer hours at a hospital,business and finance club, john hopkins talented youth, And a few other clubs run by my school
High school: well respected private high school in ny
Hooks: for NYU- mother and uncle both went there and mom was on faculty for 8 years
For umich- friend knows someone on board of directors

With connections, it'll be easier for you to get into NYU. Same goes for Umich

Your SAT is strong. Your GPA is kinda average, but you have a high chance for Umich..NYU Stern might be a low reach because of GPA, but with connections, you definitely have a solid chance of getting in
