Community Involvment-
This is a hard catagory because so many of my clubs do service projects, escpecially with NHS. I have lead several service projects on my own such as my Eagle Scout Service Project (overall +200 hrs), Salvation Army Bell Ringing (75 hrs.), and a Citywide Clean-Up (+100 hrs). I also have traveled to Mexico to build a house for a week (about 50 hours alone, 1000 total amongst team) and will be returing to build again next summer. Every month my youth group volunteers at a local food bank called Harvesters which is a main distributer for food banks in the major Kansas City area (about 5hrs/month). The past few years I have helped lead the drama skits for our church's VBS program (100hrs/summer) but I will be unable to do it this year because it overlaps with Kansas Boys State. This past year and this year I have been and will be a member of my NHS's Relay for Life team. Overall I would say I have done at least +1000 service hours throughout my high school career.

Work Experiance-

Lifegaurding, fun job. Not. Pay sucks, but it has great job security with incredable flexibility. This will be my second summer.

Next summer I will be working as an intern for either a packaging company designing mechanical parts or a sifting company designing food sifting trays

Thanks for reading through this and let me know what needs work! Thanks!

the only problem I see in your resume is the fact that most if not all your achievements took place this year and that will look like you were just trying to rack up some gimmes inorder to impress those reading the application. Other than that, good job and good luck! you seem like a pretty viable candidate but who knowS?
chance me please at "chance me guys!" by me, raca1111

Lol. No it's cause this was the first year I made it to Nationals. And it was also the first year I could compete in SkillsUSA. I'm sincerely not trying to stack this year, it just so happens that this was my first turkey successful year. I anticipate next year I will do better, but of course none of that will make a difference as far as MiT goes
