Do a PhD. Not an MD. Med schools won't care about how much of a "hit" your product would be and how well it would "reflect on their institution." They create practicing doctors, not pure researchers (I may be slightly off on this, hopefully someone will correct me).
How recent is recent? Do you have the necessary prereqs, by the way? Have you taken the MCAT? How is your science GPA? You may be a "deadly serious worker" when it comes to your company, but you haven't shown that in your coursework, which will be a huge hit against you. How time sensitive is your product's release? You do realize that med school is a lot harder than undergrad, and if you couldn't excel in both your company and undergrad simultaneously, it will be nigh-impossible to do so in med school (a four-year commitment).
