Ok so I didn't do that great in freshman/ sophmore year,at least by national merit standards, like 3.1 gpa.. but what GPA does national merit look at? Just junior year? or a cumulative gpa from freshman/sophomore/junior..... thanks!
national merit is based on the psat taken your junior year, and the score necessary to get the honor depends year to year, but at the very least, over a 205 is around the cutoff for commended scholars.
