Your GPA and rank are your biggest problems.
Penn CAS ED: High Reach
Chicago EA: High Reach
Cornell CAS or CALS (for AEM) RD: Mid to High Reach
Duke CAS RD: High Reach
CMU: Low reach
NYU STern: Low reach
I think you have good chances at UIUC and Michigan.
Also, AP scholar (or National merit scholar) is not a big deal.
@20more thanks for the advice. any other low reach colleges taht you would add? ~cmu lvl. Thanks. I'm going to try to work my ass off and maintain a good gpa at CMU (if i go there) to get into the BsCF program.
Is your school private? I go to one a top boarding school, and being in the top 25% here is a real feat. If your school is very, very challenging, colleges will be informed of that through the school profile your college/guidance counselor will provide.
I'm terrible at chancing, but I mean, everything else you have looks great!
lol 25% at my school is not THAT much of a feat. it's a public school. but it's prlly the most competitive public school in massachusetts (def within top 5 schools in MA).
