chance me back PLEEEASEEE chance me for engineering and i will chance back

Well to start off, your test scores and GPA really kill you and definitely weaken your chances of getting into TCNJ. However, you have taken a very demanding course load throughout high school and the admissions officers will see that. Make sure your recs talk about how you tried really, really hard in class to achieve the grades you achieved. As people often say, "would a college rather see an A in a regular class or a B in an honors class?" The school will see that you have challenged yourself and that will help make up for your scores and grades themselves. You also have excellent EC's and those will help you as well. Make sure you retake the SAT and also try the ACT to see how you do. I know it is a huge jump from a 1600, but try to score at least a 1900 (or 28 on the ACT) and you will have a much better chance at getting into TCNJ. Also, write an excellent essay! I'd say you have a 50/50 chance at getting into TCNJ right now. You have a pretty good shot at Rutgers, U Del, and CUA. Loyola is a reach but you have a chance, and Binghamton is probably a slight reach. Good luck
PS. I am also applying to TCNJ but for engineering haha

I'm applying to TCNJ also! When I toured the college, they said they like to see course rigor. I have a friend who got into TCNJ with a 3.5 GPA and 1600 SAT and less extracurriculars than you (you have better stats) so you definitely stand a chance, but the higher you can raise your SAT score, the better
